According to Kyobo Book Centre’s bestseller rankings for the first week of October, “Choi Kang-rok’s Cooking Notes” has held the top spot in the cooking category for three consecutive weeks. According to Yes24 on October 10th, “Choi Kang-rok’s Cooking Notes” also reported a remarkable 1278.6% increase in sales compared to the previous month after the show aired.

Despite the soaring sales of Choi Kang-rok’s book, the publisher has been unable to contact him to organize promotions related to the book.
Choi Kang-rok became a fan favorite after his appearance on “Culinary Class Wars”, which premiered on September 17th.
